Program Overview – Winter Quest 2026

The Winter Quest program is designed to help students understand their strengths, explore their interests, and discover their potential for a fulfilling future.

◆ Program Name: AKU Winter Quest 2026
◆ Duration: 6 Days
◆ Dates: December 28, 2026 to January 2, 2027
◆ Timings: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
◆ Target Audience: Students enrolled in grade 11 and 12.
◆ Residence: Staying in the AKU residence is optional for candidates.
◆ Financial Aid: Partial financial assistance is available for the programme.

Eligibility Criteria for AKU

Candidates in their Higher Secondary Level, including A-levels or equivalent, are eligible to apply based on the following criteria.

Pakistani Higher Secondary System (Including AKU Examination Board)

◉ For grade 11 and 12: Secondary School result with an overall aggregate of 70%.
◉ Minimum 65% in English.

British System

◉ For AS and A2: Evidence of completing 8 subjects in O-Levels / IGCSE.
◉ Minimum B grade in English and three other subjects.

American System (AMR)

◉ For high school: Cumulative 70% in grade 10.

International Baccalaureate

◉ For DP1 and DP2: Achievement of at least 28 points.
◉ Must have received the IB MYP certificate.

Other Indigenous Systems of Education

◉ For high school: Evidence of completing the secondary school certificate with an aggregate of 70%.
◉ Minimum 65% in English as assessed by the home institution.

Application Process for AKU

Candidates are required to apply online and submit the required documents and essay. Our advice is not to complete the application on your phone.

◆ Upload one clear photograph showing your full face (no selfie).
◆ Upload your Secondary School Certificate or equivalent transcript.
◆ Upload the application fee payment receipt.
◆ Answer the 400-word essay question provided in the application form.
◆ Application Fee: Rs 2,000 (non-refundable).
◆ Pay the fee online via the AKU payment portal.
◆ Use "First name-2026" as the tracking ID (e.g., Mahnoor-2026).
◆ Select "Medical College - Pakistan" and "WINTERQUEST2026" as purpose.
