◉ Master's degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in the relevant discipline.
◉ Minimum CGPA as prescribed by HEC for MPhil admissions.

Entry Test Details for UOM

NTS Test Requirements

◆ Candidates having no valid NTS/HEC-ETC test at the time of application shall apply online through the NTS website.

Test Fee

◆ Testing fee of Rs. 1,300 (other than application processing fee) to be deposited via:

• 1Link Participating Banks

• ATM / Internet Banking / Mobile Banking

• Easy Paisa / Jazz Cash

• TCS Express Counters

Test Requirements

◆ Candidates shall be required to qualify the Admission Eligibility Test (GAT-General/GAT-Subject) conducted by the University through NTS.
◆ Minimum score: 50% in GAT-General and 60% in GAT-Subject.
◆ Candidates possessing a valid GAT-General/GAT-Subject result conducted by NTS or HEC-ETC are eligible for admission.

Important Instructions

◆ Candidates employed in government, semi-government departments, and autonomous bodies must submit NOC from the department within 30 days after admission.
◆ A copy of the application submitted to the employer for NOC or acknowledgment may be produced at the time of admission, failing which, admission will stand cancelled.
◆ MPhil or equivalent degree with research thesis is mandatory for admission into PhD.
◆ Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
◆ Errors and omissions (if any) are subject to rectification.
