College of Nursing, KSMC/Allama Iqbal Memorial Hospital, Sialkot (CON-KSMC) (Spring Admissions 2026)

The University of Health Sciences, Lahore, invites applications for the Post R.N. BSc Nursing (Two-Year) Degree Programme for the 2025–2026 session. Admissions are open for 550 seats across eleven public sector nursing colleges in Punjab, including institutions in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and others. The gender ratio is 50 seats each for males and females, with any unfilled male seats being allocated to female candidates. Eligibility requires candidates to hold a Diploma in General Nursing with at least 60% marks, registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council. Female applicants must also have a Midwifery diploma, while males require a one-year Post-Basic Specialty diploma. Other criteria include two years of regular government service, no recent training in the last three years, a maximum age of 55, Punjab domicile, and no pending disciplinary proceedings. Applications are accepted exclusively online through the UHS admission portal from January 12 to 23, 2026. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 must be paid via designated banks. Applicants from public sector colleges must upload a No Objection Certificate. It is mandatory to select all colleges in an order of preference, which becomes final after the deadline. Merit is calculated out of 100 marks. Fifty marks are for academic aggregate in nursing and midwifery or specialization. Entry test scores contribute 40 marks, while government service experience adds up to 8 marks. An extra qualification in a one-year specialization adds 2 marks. The admission schedule includes an entry test on February 1, 2026, with merit lists and selection lists released in February. Selected candidates must pay a Rs. 20,000 tuition fee and submit online consent to secure their seat or opt for upgradation. Admission is confirmed only after document verification by the college principal. Important provisions state that admissions are strictly based on merit and government policy. Any fraudulent information leads to immediate cancellation and a three-year admission ban. Upon completing the degree, graduates must serve in the public sector for three years and cannot withdraw from the programme prematurely.
