JP McManus All Ireland Scholarship Scheme 2026 – £5,850 per Year for High Achieving Students
The JP McManus All Ireland Scholarship Scheme is now accepting applications for 2026.
This prestigious program provides financial support to high‑achieving students from low‑income households in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Scholarship Benefits
Selected scholars receive £5,850 per annum for the duration of their undergraduate course. This funding can be used toward tuition, accommodation, books, and living expenses.
Number of Scholarships
A total of 25 scholarships are awarded to students from Northern Ireland:

19 scholarships for top ‘A’ Level students from grant‑aided post‑primary schools (minimum of two per county based on where students live)

6 scholarships for top Level 3 Extended Diploma students from Further Education Colleges (one per each of the six colleges)
Eligibility Criteria

Attend a grant‑aided post‑primary school or Further Education College in Northern Ireland

Be in receipt of the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) at the time of examination

Commence an undergraduate course at a university in the 2026/2027 academic year
