• Applicants recommended by “Belt and Road” Cooperative Universities

• Graduate applicants from top 1000 universities worldwide (US News, QS, THE, ARWU)

• Graduate applicants from China’s “First‑class Universities” or programs with “First‑class Disciplines” or top 1% of ESI

Type B (Partial Coverage) : Tuition + Accommodation Fee for other students

Master’s Degree Programs – Scholarship Coverage

Type A: CNY 25,000

Open to:

• Excellent JSU students continuing from bachelor’s to master’s degree

• Graduate applicants from top 1000 universities worldwide (US News, QS, THE, ARWU)

• Graduate applicants from China’s “First‑class Universities” or programs with “First‑class Disciplines” or top 1% of ESI

Type B: CNY 20,000 for other admitted students

Bachelor’s Degree Programs – Scholarship Coverage

Type A: CNY 10,000 (first year ONLY)

Terms and Conditions

Age Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree applicants: under 25 years

• Master’s degree applicants: under 30 years

• Doctoral degree applicants: under 40 years

Living Stipend: CNY 5,000 for the first year, deposited to student’s bank account according to attendance

Renewal Policy (Master’s & Doctoral): Scholarship renewed once a year after annual evaluation of performance. The awarded scholarship from the second year may increase or decrease according to evaluation points

Major Transfer (Bachelor Students): Transferring majors after availing the Presidential Scholarship in the first year shall be approved only after the student compensates the scholarship amount back to the university

Important Notes

• Not compatible with winners of other scholarships

• Only applicable to overseas students taking English‑taught degree programs

• For all Chinese‑taught degree programs: 40% discount on tuition fee

• JSU reserves the right for interpretation and explanation
