Eligibility Criteria for KMU

Academic Requirements

◉ FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks for Paramedical Sciences .
◉ Minimum 60% marks for DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) admission .
◉ Candidates awaiting their final results may also apply .

KMU-CAT Requirement

◉ Only candidates who have duly appeared in the KMU-CAT Test 2026 are eligible to apply .
◉ Candidates applying from other provinces must appear in the KMU-CAT on the specified date .

General Requirements

◉ Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply .
◉ Candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including merged districts), AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, and other provinces can apply .
◉ Admissions shall be granted on a merit-cum-quota basis only .

KMU-CAT 2026 Entry Test Details

Test Overview

◆ KMU-CAT 2026 is the mandatory centralized admission test for all undergraduate programs .
◆ The first-ever fully computer-based, paperless admission test was conducted in July 2026, with candidates receiving results immediately after completion .
◆ Over 18,165 candidates registered for KMU-CAT 2026, with more than 18,000 appearing across 23 computer-based examination centers .

Test Schedule

◆ 1st Test: July 25-26, 2026 – Completed with over 18,000 candidates .
◆ 2nd Test: September 20, 2026 .
◆ 3rd Test: October 25, 2026 .

Test centers established in 14 cities including Peshawar, Islamabad, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Lower Dir, Hazara, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Haripur, Chitral, and Parachinar .

◆ Create an account and select your preferred test date and examination center .
◆ Deposit the prescribed processing fee through any branch of the Bank of Khyber .
