Pakistan Marine Academy is the only public sector institute in Pakistan that provides pre‑sea professional training to seafarers. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission:

Gender: Unmarried male citizens of Pakistan.

Age (General): Not more than 20 years as of December 31, 2026.

Age (FATA/Gilgit Baltistan/AJK/Balochistan): Not more than 21 years as of December 31, 2026 (one year age relaxation).

Education:

F.Sc Pre‑Engineering with at least 55% marks.

A‑Levels with subject combination (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and at least 55% marks. Equivalency certificate for both O‑Level and A‑Level is required.

F.Sc / A‑Level Part‑II appearing candidates with at least 60% marks in Part‑I can also apply. They must provide a Hope Certificate from the head of their college/institute.

If a candidate fails to attain 55% marks in F.Sc after providing a Hope Certificate, they will be disqualified at any stage of the selection process and will be discharged during training.

DAE and non‑combination subjects candidates are not eligible.

Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of four stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to proceed.

Stage 1 – Entrance Test: Conducted by NTS (National Testing Service) or other testing agencies at designated centers across Pakistan. Minimum 50% marks are required to qualify.

Stage 2 – Medical Examination: Medical fitness test of NTS‑qualified candidates will be conducted at designated Army or Navy hospitals.

Ineligibility Criteria
Candidates are ineligible if they:
