Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria vary by program level:

For LL.B (4 Years) :

• Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized institute.

• A-Level with Equivalence Certificate from IBCC (with at least 50% marks).

• Valid LAT pass certificate with a minimum 50% score.

For BBA (2 Years) :

• 14 Years of Education or Equivalent (BA, BSc, BCom & Associate Degree) from an HEC-recognized institute with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 or with at least 50% marks.

For BBA (4 Years) & BS Criminology (4 Years) :

• Intermediate or Equivalent from a recognized institute/A-Level with Equivalence Certificate from IBCC (with at least 50% Marks).

For LL.M (2 Years) :

• LLB Degree (with at least 50% marks from HEC recognized institute).

For MS (Management Sciences) – Evening Program :

• 16 Years of equivalent business education such as BBA (4 years), BBA (2 years), MBA (16-years), MPA (16-years) and other relevant or equivalent qualification/degree from HEC recognized University with minimum CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 or Second Division.

For Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Criminology (1 Year – Evening Program) :

• 14 Years of Education in any Discipline with at least Second Division from HEC recognized institute with two years professional experience.

• OR 16 Years of Education in any Discipline with at least Second Division from HEC recognized institute.

For PhD (Law) & PhD (Management Sciences) – Evening Program :

• MS/MPhil/LL.M. equivalent degree from HEC recognized institute with minimum CGPA 3.0 out 4.0 or 60% in the annual system.

• Candidates having less than 3.0 CGPA or 60% marks in the annual system may also apply but will be required to undertake additional courses of 9-12 credit hours of level 4.0 CGPA.

• Eligible candidates applying for PhD admission will be required to clear GRE/HAT General or equivalent university based test with 60% marks.

• For intra-disciplinary admissions, candidates will be required to pass GRE Subject, if not available, an equivalent test with 50% marks.

• All intra-disciplinary admissions will also be required to undertake 6-9 credit hours of deficiency courses of Level 7.

Certificates Accepted:

• Certificates issued by the Ziauddin University Examination Board for Secondary School Certificate (SSC-Advance) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC-Advance) are also accepted.

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Visit the official SZABUL admission portal at admission.szabul.edu.pk .

2. Create an account and fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.

3. Select your desired program from the list of available offerings.

4. Upload scanned copies of the required documents (educational certificates, CNIC/B-Form, passport-size photographs, etc.).

5. Pay the processing fee:

   • Rs. 2,000 (Non-Refundable) for LL.B, BBA, BS Criminology, PGD (Criminology)

   • Rs. 5,000 (Non-Refundable) for MS (Management Sciences) and LL.M

   • Rs. 15,000 (Non-Refundable) for PhD (Law) & PhD (Management Sciences)

6. Payments can be made through the Quick Pay option available in the admission portal OR by depositing a Pay Order in favor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law, Account No: 0359-370505-6101, at Sindh Bank Ltd, Jamshed Garden Branch.

7. Submit the application before the deadline of August 3, 2026 .

8. Appear for the entry test and interview as per the schedule.
