Eligibility Criteria for UHS

◉ Merit shall be calculated on the basis of the HSSC (Pre-Medical) Part-I result.
◉ Admission shall be subject to passing the complete HSSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
◉ In case a candidate fails to secure the prescribed minimum 60% marks in aggregate, his/her admission shall stand cancelled.
◉ The candidate shall qualify the UHS Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT)-2026 by securing a minimum of 50% marks.

◆ UHS-UGAT 2026 shall comprise a single paper of 100 MCQ.
◆ Subject Distribution:

• 25 MCQ from English

• 25 MCQ from Biology

• 25 MCQ from Chemistry

• 25 MCQ from Physics
  ◆ Duration: 2 hours.
  ◆ Test Date: Saturday, 5th September 2026.

Merit Calculation

Merit calculation shall be based on the following weighted average:

◆ HSSC (Pre-Medical Part-I/Equivalent) – 40%

Application Procedure

1. Applicants shall submit their applications online through: portals.uhs.edu.pk/ug-admission .

2. Create a verified account using a valid email.

3. Complete the application form with correct particulars, academic details, required documents, and selected programs.

4. Each program selected shall constitute a separate application.

5. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000 per program plus UGAT fee of Rs. 3,000.

6. Deposit the system-generated challan through designated modes within the prescribed deadline.

7. Upload proof of payment to the portal.

8. Mandatory uploads:

   • CNIC/B-Form

   • Father's CNIC

   • Recent passport-size photograph

   • SSC certificate/result card

   • HSSC Part-I result card

   • Domicile

   • IBCC equivalence (if applicable)

9. Each document shall be in prescribed format, not exceeding 1 MB, and must be clear and legible.

10. Verify all entries and documents prior to final submission. No changes shall be permissible thereafter.

Program Selection and Admission Finality

◆ A candidate may apply to multiple programs and may appear in more than one merit list.
◆ Admission shall be secured only upon payment of the prescribed fee for a single program within the stipulated deadline.
◆ Where a candidate already admitted is subsequently placed in the merit list of another program, he/she may seek transfer by written request.
◆ Once transferred, reservation to the previous program shall not be permissible under any circumstances.
