Eligibility Criteria for Resilience Fund
◉ Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada .
◉ Must be between 16 and 30 years old on the date you apply .
◉ If under 19, a parent or guardian must sign the application .
◉ Projects must be youth-led and activity-based .
◉ Organizations (charities, nonprofits, schools, businesses) are not eligible to apply .
◉ Prioritisation given to youth who identify as Indigenous, Black, racialized, youth with disabilities, 2SLGBTQI+, newcomers, French-speaking youth outside Quebec, English-speaking youth in Quebec, rural/remote youth, and youth from low-income households .

Project Criteria

Eligible Project Costs
Funding can be spent on:
◆ Supplies: Art supplies, ceremony supplies, food and drinks, paper, masks, hand sanitizer, first aid supplies, gas/mileage ($0.55/km).
◆ __Giveaway Items:__ T-shirts, tote bags, lanyards, pins, nametags, reusable water bottles, first aid kits, bus tickets (max $25 per item).
◆ Equipment and Technology: Gardening tools, equipment, storage boxes, laptops, tablets, music/sports equipment (max $750 per item – must be donated after project).
◆ __Fees:__ Facilitator fees, taxi/rideshare, printing, social media advertising, artist fees, city permits, tent/table rentals, venue rentals, catering.
◆ __Honoraria:__ For Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and others with special knowledge (max $500 per person).
◆ Ineligible Costs: Unsafe or illegal items, alcohol, cannabis, items not related to the project, fees to family members, annual subscriptions, equipment kept after project .
