Eligibility Criteria for PWWF Free Education

To qualify for the GCU Lahore PWWF scholarship, applicants must satisfy specific guidelines established by the labor and welfare departments. The eligibility framework ensures that support reaches genuine industrial and mining families:

Worker Status Requirements

◉ The applicant or their parent must qualify as a worker under the Industrial Relations Act.
◉ A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a factory registered under the Factories Act 1934 or the Mines Act 1923 is mandatory.
◉ Workers must hold a valid Social Security card and relevant employment verification documents.

Special Provisions for Deceased or Disabled Workers

◉ Children of workers who became disabled or passed away during service are also eligible.
