Eligibility Criteria for PEEF Loan

Citizenship Requirements

◉ Must be a Pakistani / AJK / Gilgit-Baltistan national.
◉ Dual nationality is not allowed.

Degree Level

◉ Only for MS and PhD programs.
◉ Available for Master's and Doctoral studies in priority fields: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Biotechnology, Space Sciences, and Engineering & Technology.

Age Limit

◉ MS applicants: Maximum 30 years at the closing date.
◉ PhD applicants: Maximum 35 years at the closing date.
◉ Must be between 18 and 45 years at the time of application.

Academic Merit

◉ Must have obtained at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in the last completed degree.

University Admission

◉ Must have secured admission through a merit-based process in a Top 25 QS World Ranked University.
◉ Applicants must provide evidence of the university's ranking along with their admission documentation.
◉ Students admitted to universities outside the eligible Top 25 ranking are not eligible.

Financial Eligibility

◉ Monthly family income ceiling: MS / PhD ≤ PKR 500,000.
◉ Must demonstrate financial need, verified through BISP and NADRA.
◉ Must be an active taxpayer.

Guarantor Required

◉ Must provide a financially sound guarantor who is a blood relative, willing to sign the required legal agreements.
