Punjab's government Increases Fees for Public Medical and Dental Colleges

• The annual tuition fee for MBBS and BDS programmes in Punjab's government medical and dental colleges has been increased from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 50,000.

• The increase amounts to more than 233%.

• The revised fee will apply only to newly admitted students.

• Existing students will continue to pay the previous fee.

New Annual Fee: Rs. 50,000
Previous Annual Fee: Rs. 15,000
Increase: Rs. 35,000 per year
