Programs Offered at RCN

◆ Undergraduate Nursing Programs:

• Generic BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) – 4-year degree program

• Post RN BScN – 2-year degree program for registered nurses with a diploma in nursing

◆ Diploma Programs:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 2-year diploma program recognized by PNC and affiliated with Nurses Examination Board (NEB), Peshawar

◆ Program Highlights:

• Generic BSN program has an annual intake of 110 students per batch

Eligibility Criteria for RCN

◉ For Generic BSN Program:

• F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks

• Maximum age limit: 30 years

• Open to both male and female candidates

• Domicile: All over Pakistan (foreign students may also apply)

• Mandatory appearance in KMU-CAT 2026

• Personal interview is mandatory for all categories of applicants

◉ For Post RN BScN Program:

• 3-year Diploma in Nursing (RN)

• 1-year Diploma in Midwifery or any post-basic specialty

• Valid PNC License

• Open to both male and female candidates

◉ For Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program:

• Matric (Science) with minimum 50% marks

• Age: 17 to 30 years

• Open to both male and female candidates

• Science group candidates will be preferred

◉ Merit Weightage for Generic BSN:

• HSSC or equivalent: 50%

• KMU-CAT: 40%

• Personal Interview: 10%

◉ Merit Weightage for Post RN BScN:

• Entry Test: 100%

◉ Merit Weightage for CNA:

• Entry Test: 80%

• Interview: 20%

How to Apply for RCN

1. Visit the official RMI admissions portal at admissions.rmi.edu.pk

2. Register yourself by creating an account on the portal

3. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic details

4. Select "Rehman College of Nursing (RCN)" as your preferred college

5. Upload the required scanned documents:
   → SSC / Matric Certificate and Detailed Marksheet
   → HSSC / F.Sc Certificate and Detailed Marksheet / IBCC Equivalence
   → Domicile Certificate
   → CNIC or Form 'B' of Applicant and Father
   → Passport Copy (for foreign applicants)
   → Passport-Size Photograph
   → KMU-CAT Result Card

6. Pay the online application fee as specified on the portal

7. Submit the form and download the acknowledgment slip

8. Appear for the mandatory personal interview (for Generic BSN)

9. Selected candidates must deposit the fee within three working days of the admission offer

10. Submit original academic documents to the Student Affairs Office within one week of admission
