The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore is a premier public-sector health sciences university in Punjab, Pakistan, responsible for conducting the Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for Punjab province.

Admittance Card Issuance Details

How to Print Your Admittance Card

★ Admittance Card available from: Thursday, 6th August 2026
★ Download Link: mdcat.uhs.edu.pk
★ Enter complete CNIC/Passport number used at the time of registration on PM&DC Portal.
★ Click the "Download" button to retrieve your Admittance Card.
★ Print on white, plain, A4-sized paper (colour print recommended).

Discrepancy Reporting

◆ If unable to retrieve Admittance Card, or identify any discrepancy in name, father's/guardian's name, gender, CNIC/Passport number, or photograph:
◆ Lodge a complaint immediately through: mdcat.uhs.edu.pk
◆ Supported by relevant documentary evidence.

◉ CNIC for age 18 and above (issued by NADRA)
◉ Juvenile Card for age under 18 (issued by NADRA)
◉ Passport issued by DG Immigration & Passports, Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan

✗ Driving Licence

Note: No candidate shall be permitted to enter or appear without one of the specified original identity documents.

Timing and Reporting Instructions

★ Examination Centre Opens: 08:00 AM
★ Entry Deadline: 09:00 AM (No entry after 09:00 AM)
★ Test Duration: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM (3 Hours)
★ Early Departure: No candidate shall be allowed to leave before conclusion of paper.
★ You may check MDCAT practice tests for preparation.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited within the Examination Centre premises:

◆ Mobile phones
◆ Calculators
◆ Books, Notes or any written material
◆ Weapons or any arms
◆ Smart or digital watches
◆ Any electronic or communication or Bluetooth device

Consequences: Possession or use of any prohibited item shall lead to immediate expulsion and cancellation of the paper under Unfair Means Case (UMC) Regulations. Such candidates shall be debarred from taking MDCAT examination for further two consecutive years and may also be handed over to Police for legal proceedings.

No facility for safekeeping of valuables shall be provided.

Permitted Items

Candidates are only allowed to bring:

◆ Transparent clipboard
◆ Two blue ballpoint pens
◆ Small transparent water bottles

Parental Instructions

◆ Parents or guardians are advised to drop candidates before commencement.
◆ Collect them after conclusion of the test.
◆ Advise children not to bring any prohibited item to the test centre.

◆ It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to establish his or her identity at the test centre by presenting one of the specified original identity documents.
◆ Candidates producing photocopies, unverified, or unclear documents shall not be permitted to appear.
