Overview of UNIDROIT Research Scholarship Programme

The International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) offers prestigious research scholarships to outstanding post-graduate law students, lawyers, academics, and government officials. Selected scholars receive a monthly stipend of €1,500 to conduct research at the UNIDROIT Library in Rome, Italy, for a period of two months (exceptionally three) . Over the past 25 years, the programme has hosted nearly 400 researchers from 65 countries worldwide

Candidates may apply for scholarships in relation to any of UNIDROIT's work areas, existing instruments, or current projects . Special consideration is given to applications on the following topics:
