Admission Schedule 2026–27

Punjab University has announced the following admission schedule:

• Online Applications Start: 2 July 2026

• Last Date to Apply: 4 August 2026 (11:59 PM)

Only online applications are accepted. Students should complete their applications before the deadline to avoid technical issues.

Entry Test Requirement

An admission test is mandatory for undergraduate programs. The second PU Admission Test is tentatively scheduled for 19th July, 2026. The weightage of the admission test is:

• 33% for Engineering programs

• 25% for Non-Engineering programs

The test is conducted in seven different categories based on academic streams (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Arts & Humanities, ICS, General Science, Commerce). For admission to Engineering programs, the PU Admission Test is mandatory as per PEC regulations, and scores of E-CAT (UET) or NUST Test are also acceptable.

3. Pay the test fee of PKR 2,500/- at any branch of HBL, UBL, or through Mobile Banking.
