Introduction

Agriculture College Panjgur is a public sector higher education institute located in Panjgur, Balochistan, Pakistan. Established in 2022, the college was founded to address the critical need for agricultural professionals in the Makran Zone. It is administratively controlled by the Secretary, Government of Balochistan, Agriculture & Cooperatives Department.

History

The college was established in 2022 as a beacon of hope and opportunity in the heart of the Makran Zone. The annual intake has been kept at a base minimal level of 150 students to ensure quality of education and research on high grounds. The infrastructure of the college is under construction and will be completed soon.

Academic Program

The college offers a B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program, a four-year undergraduate degree designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in agricultural science. Topics covered include plant and animal biology, soil science, agronomy, horticulture, agricultural economics, and sustainable farming practices.

Admissions (2026-27)

Applications are invited for the 5th Batch in BS Agriculture 1st Semester for the academic year 2026-27.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification: F.Sc. with Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering with at least 50% marks (minimum 550 marks out of 1100)

• F.Sc in Computer Science is not eligible to apply

• Admission forms can be downloaded from the college website or obtained from the Principal's office

• Application form processing fee: Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable)

• Last date for submission: 30th September, 2026

• Entry test based on F.Sc Curriculum (Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology/Math)

• In April 2025, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Makran inaugurated a Plant Breeding Department and a modern laboratory at the college

• In September 2025, the University of Makran granted affiliation to local colleges
