1. Country of Residence
You must currently reside in a World Bank low‑income, lower‑middle income, or upper‑middle income economy at the time of application.
2. Academic Qualification
You must hold a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) obtained by the application deadline AND be currently employed by a university or higher education institution.

3. Employment Status
You must be currently employed (as teaching/lecturer/research/technical staff) for at least two years by one of the following institutions based in an eligible country:
