History

The College of Medical Technology (CMT) was established in 2019 as a constituent college of Bacha Khan Medical College (BKMC), which itself was inaugurated on 1st January 2010 as the first public sector medical college in Mardan. The college was created under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reforms Act, 2015, to improve performance and enhance effectiveness in healthcare education. CMT began with an initial intake of 175 seats per year across multiple disciplines.
