Eligibility Criteria for CSS 2027

Educational Qualification

◉ Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's Degree (Second Division) from a recognized university.
◉ The cutoff date for determining all eligibility criteria is 31 December 2026.

Age Limit

◉ Age must be between 21 and 30 years on the cutoff date (31 December 2026).
◉ A two‑year relaxation is admissible to categories specified in Rule 6 of the CSS CE Rules, 2019.
◉ Age relaxation up to 32 years applies to specific categories, including government employees with at least two years of service and candidates from AJK and Gilgit‑Baltistan.

Other Requirements

◉ Candidates must have the required domicile as per FPSC rules.
◉ Qualifying the MPT is mandatory for applying and appearing in the main CSS CE‑2027 written examination.
◉ Candidates are provisionally admitted at their own risk. If found ineligible at any stage, their candidature shall be cancelled, regardless of appearance or qualification of even the entire process.

Application Procedure for CSS MPT 2027

Step 1 – Online Registration & Account Creation

1. Visit the official FPSC website: www.fpsc.gov.pk .

2. Click on the 'Apply Online' link.

3. Create an account and log in to the online portal.

4. Complete/update your profile with accurate personal and academic information.

Step 2 – Fill the MPT Application Form

1. Fill out the prescribed application form for MPT‑2027.

2. Carefully enter your CNIC and Date of Birth – wrong entries will lead to rejection.

3. Select your preferred examination centre (once selected, it cannot be changed).

4. Generate a 16‑digit PSID for online fee payment.

Step 3 – Fee Payment

1. Pay the fee of Rs. 250 online via the 1‑Link facility using:

   • ATMs

   • Mobile banking apps (Easypaisa, JazzCash, etc.)

   • Internet banking

   • Over the counter at any 1‑Link member bank

2. Note: Fee paid on old FPSC Challan Form (TR‑6), or through cheque, bank draft, or pay order will not be accepted.

Step 4 – Complete Online Application

1. After depositing the fee, log in again via the 'Apply Online' link on www.fpsc.gov.pk .

2. Enter the remaining required details to complete your online application.

3. Ensure all information is correct and complete before final submission.

4. Submit your application well before 20 August 2026.

Step 5 – Download Admission Certificate

◆ Admission Certificates can be downloaded from the FPSC website at least 10 days before the test.
◆ No separate intimation to this effect will be made by FPSC.
