Ghazi University is a public sector university located in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. It is the only institution of higher education in the far-flung area of Southern Punjab, serving the educational needs of the backward districts of D.G. Khan, Layyah, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur.

History of Ghazi University DG Khan

The university has a history that dates back to 1998 when the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, established a sub-campus in Dera Ghazi Khan. In 2004, Bahauddin Zakariya University also opened a sub-campus there.
