Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria vary by program level :

For MS Programs:

• HSSC (or Equivalent) with a minimum of 60% marks.

• BS/BS (Engg) with a minimum CGPA of 2.70 or 70% marks.

For PhD Programs:

• HSSC (or Equivalent) with a minimum of 60% marks.

• BS/BS (Engg) with a minimum CGPA of 2.70 or 70% marks.

• MS/MPhil with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or 75% marks.

General Requirements:

• Candidates must pass the GIKI Admission Test or submit a valid GRE (General) / HEC-ETC HAT score .

• Short-listed candidates will be required to appear for an interview .

• A research proposal is required for PhD applicants .

Scholarships

GIKI offers Graduate Assistantships to all MS and PhD students, providing exceptional financial support :

• Monthly Stipend:

  • PhD: Rs. 158,000/- per month

  • MS: Rs. 88,000/- per month

• Full Tuition Fee Waiver – Free tuition for all MS and PhD students.

• Free Hostel Accommodation – Available across all MS and PhD programs.

Additional Benefits:

• Highly subsidized tuition fee of PKR 50,000 per semester for Day Scholars .

2. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.

4. Upload scanned copies of the following documents:

   • A-Level/HSSC Certificate and DMC

   • BSc/BS Degree and Transcript

   • MS/MPhil Degree and Transcript (for PhD applicants only)

   • Two letters of recommendation

   • Statement of purpose (one-page summary)

5. Submit the application before the deadline of July 31, 2026 .

6. Appear for the GIKI Admission Test if required.

7. If shortlisted, appear for the online/ physical interview .
