History of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi

IBA was established in 1955 with support from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently by the University of Southern California. It initially operated as a division of the University of Karachi. In 1994, IBA was granted autonomous status, allowing it to award its own degrees. In 2021, the institution was reframed as IBA Karachi with three schools established.
