Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria vary by program level at KUST:

For MS / MPhil / MBA Programs:

• A relevant BS (Hons) / BBA (Hons) / MA / MSc degree from an HEC-recognized university.

• Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 in the semester system, or 1st Division in the annual system.

• Valid score of at least 50% in GAT (General) / GRE (General) / ETE-A / HEC HAT / KUST Internal Test.

• Candidates must also appear for an interview.

For PhD Programs:

• A relevant MS/MPhil degree from an HEC-recognized university.

• Minimum CGPA as per HEC and university guidelines.

• Valid score as per university policy in GAT (General) / ETE-A / HEC HAT / KUST Internal Test.

Test Fee:

• Candidates who want to register for the Entrance Test must deposit a fee of Rs. 1,500/- separately as a test fee.

How to Apply (Step by Step)

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Visit the official KUST admission portal at admissions.kohat.edu.pk .

2. Create an account and fill out the online application form with accurate personal and academic details.

3. Pay the application processing fee for MS/MPhil/PhD programs: Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable).

4. Deposit the fee in HBL/BOK KUST branch online Account No. 0427991830103 or BOK-PK16KHYB00030209204418 from any HBL/BOK Branch in Pakistan.

5. For the Entrance Test, deposit a separate fee of Rs. 1,500/- as a test fee.

6. Submit the deposited fee challan to the Admission & Student Affairs Office KUST.

7. Upload scanned copies of the required documents (academic transcripts, CNIC/B-Form, passport-size photographs, etc.) on the admission portal.

8. Submit the application before the deadline.

9. Appear for the departmental test and interview as per the schedule.

10. Check the merit list and follow the instructions for enrollment if selected.
