History of Kohsar University Murree (KUM)

Kohsar University Murree was established by the Government of Punjab through the Kohsar University, Murree Act 2020. The university was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on April 23, 2021, at Punjab House, one of its key campuses. The university was established through the conversion of government buildings including the Punjab House, Government Graduate Colleges, and other facilities. Prof. Dr. Habib Ali Bokhari served as the first Vice Chancellor. Prof. Dr. Rafia Mumtaz currently serves as the Vice Chancellor.
