PMS 2027 Syllabus Changed

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has revised the syllabus for the Combined Competitive Examination (PMS) 2027.

Under the new scheme, candidates will have to appear in 10 compulsory subjects and 1 optional subject.

New PMS 2027 Exam Structure

  • 10 Compulsory Papers: 100 marks each
  • 1 Optional Subject: 100 marks
  • Written Examination: 1,100 marks
  • Interview/Viva Voce: 300 marks
  • Grand Total: 1,400 marks

The compulsory papers include General Knowledge, Mental Ability and Reasoning, English Essay, English, Urdu, Islamic Studies/Ethics, Pakistan Studies, International Affairs, and Economy and Development.

Candidates will choose one optional subject from a list of 30 subjects.

PPSC has announced that the detailed syllabus for all subjects will be uploaded by the end of October 2026.

The Mental Ability and Reasoning Test will have 33% qualifying marks with negative marking for the upcoming CCE.
