Nigar College of Nursing (NCN) is a public sector nursing college located in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Established under the umbrella of the MTI Bacha Khan Medical Complex Swabi, it commenced operations in 2024. The college was inaugurated by Pakistan's first female Lieutenant General (R), Nigar Johar Khan, after whom it is named.

History of Nigar College of Nursing (NCN)

The college was established to address the shortage of nurses in Pakistan and fill the gap of a public sector nursing college in the Swabi district. The Board of Governors of GKMC/BKMC-MTI approved the name "NIGAR" College of Nursing-MTI Swabi in July 2022. Initially, the college was set to start in a rented building. The college is named after Lieutenant General (R) Nigar Johar Khan, the first and only woman in the history of the Pakistan Army to attain the rank of lieutenant-general.
