This unique opportunity brings selected applicants to one of the world's leading gatherings of the commercial and national-security space communities, taking place in Mountain View, California, USA, from 27–29 October 2026. Who Should Apply – SGAC × SVSW Scholarship

This scholarship is designed for young professionals and entrepreneurs who are building, launching, or developing a company, startup, product, technology, or business idea related to the space sector. The selection committee is particularly interested in applicants who are ready to make things happen—whether already running a company, preparing to launch, developing a new venture, or working on an idea with genuine commercial potential.

◆ You do need to have something worth talking about—something you are ready to pitch.

Eligibility Criteria – SGAC × SVSW Scholarship

◉ Must be an eligible SGAC member registered on the SGAC website.
◉ Must be between 18 and 35 years old by 29 October 2026.
◉ Must be founders, entrepreneurs, startup team members, or developing a commercial space-related venture or idea.
◉ Must be able to attend Silicon Valley Space Week in person from 27–29 October 2026.
◉ Must be able to travel to the United States or independently obtain a US visa before 26 October 2026.
◉ Proof of eligibility to travel must be uploaded with the application (e.g., US passport, US residence permit, visa-exempt nationality, valid US visa, or confirmed US visa appointment).
◉ SGAC cannot provide additional funding beyond this scholarship.

How to Apply – Two Video Submissions

Applicants must submit two separate one-minute videos:

◆ 1. Why Silicon Valley Space Week?
◉ Submit a one-minute video answering: "Why do you want to attend Silicon Valley Space Week, and how would you use this opportunity to advance your company, venture, or idea?"
◉ This is not your elevator pitch.
◉ Tell us what you hope to get out of being in the room.
◉ Who do you want to meet? What are you looking to learn? What challenge are you trying to solve?
◉ Show us that you have thought about why this particular opportunity matters to you.

◆ 2. Your Elevator Pitch
◉ Submit a separate one-minute video pitching your company, startup, product, or idea.
◉ Imagine you have one minute with the person who could change the trajectory of your company.
◉ This is your opportunity to put your entrepreneurship and pitching skills to work.
◉ Do not repeat your first video.

◆ Submission Guidelines:
◉ Each applicant may submit only one application.
◉ Each company, venture, or entrepreneurial idea may submit only one application.
◉ Each video must be no longer than one minute and submitted at normal playback speed (1×).
◉ Submit two separate videos as YouTube links. Locked or unavailable videos will not be considered.
◉ All submissions must be in English.
◉ Applications must be submitted through the SGAC Scholarship Submission Form by 15 September 2026 at 23:59 PT.

Responsibilities of Winners

Scholarship winners are expected to:
