History of Hazara University Mansehra

The university was established under the Hazara University Act of 1997 and became operational in 2001. It was formally inaugurated on April 14, 2002, by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Initially functioning from existing government buildings, the institution gradually expanded into a prominent center of higher education for the Hazara region.
