History of IPT Karak

The project for the Institute of Petroleum Technology was initially announced in 2017 as the first Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Institute of Petroleum Technology. The federal government approved the project under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). The institute was established with funding from the Finance Division of the Government of Pakistan.
