Programs Offered at IIUI – Department of Hadith & Its Sciences

The Department of Hadith & Its Sciences, Faculty of Usuluddin (Islamic Studies), offers the following programs for Fall 2026:

◆ BS in Usuluddin (Hadith & Its Sciences) – 4 Years
◆ MS in Usuluddin (Hadith & Its Sciences) – 2 Years
◆ PhD in Usuluddin (Hadith & Its Sciences) – 3 Years

Students study Qur'an and Qur'anic Sciences, Seerah and Islamic History, and other general courses to understand and convey the message of the Holy Prophet (pbuh).

Eligibility Criteria for IIUI

For BS Program

◉ Minimum 50% marks in Matric and Intermediate.
◉ Relevant background in Islamic Studies or equivalent qualification.

For MS Program

◉ BA (Hons) in Usuluddin or equivalent from IIUI or other recognized universities.
◉ Minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 or 60% marks in the annual system.

For PhD Program

◉ MS/MPhil in Usuluddin (Hadith & Its Sciences) or equivalent.
◉ Minimum CGPA as per HEC policy for PhD admissions.

Entry Test Details for IIUI

◆ Entry test is mandatory for MS and PhD programs.
◆ Entry Test Schedule: 10 to 12 August 2026 for MS and PhD programs.
◆ Entry test schedule for undergraduate programs will be announced as per university policy.
◆ The detailed test schedule, including date and time for each applicant, will be published on the university website after 9 August 2026.
