Eligibility Criteria

For BS Programs

• Intermediate (FSc Pre‑Engineering / Pre‑Medical with additional Mathematics / ICS with Mathematics) or equivalent with at least 60% marks.

• Candidates must appear in the PIEAS Admission Test (Test 2 on July 12, 2026).

For MS/MPhil Programs

• 16 years of education in the relevant discipline (BS or MSc) with preferably first class academic career. One second division (≥50% marks) is allowed except in the final degree.

• Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 in the final degree (semester system) or 50% marks (annual system).

• Candidates expecting completion of degree requirements by November 1, 2026 may also apply.

• Age limit for fellowship candidates: 32 years for MBBS doctors, 27 years for all other disciplines (as of June 30, 2026). No age limit for regular fee‑paying candidates.

• GAT (General) scores accepted as per HEC policy for regular fee‑paying candidates.

For PhD Programs

• MS/MPhil degree (18 years of education) in the relevant field with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0.

• Must qualify the PIEAS Admission Test and interview.

Graduate Assistantships for PhD Scholars

Selected PhD students within PIEAS can serve as Teaching Assistants (TA), Research Assistants (RA), or Lab Engineers for 9 contact hours in a regular semester and 3 hours in summer semester. They will be awarded Rs. 65,000 per month scholarship.
