Foundation University College of Dentistry - Complete Detail - Fee 2026

Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD) is a private dental college located in Islamabad. It is a constituent college of Foundation University, a private sector university with strong ties to the Pakistan Army, operating under the auspices of the Fauji Foundation. The college offers a five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, which is recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). The curriculum follows the standard structure, beginning with pre-clinical sciences and dental theory before progressing to comprehensive clinical training. A major strength of FUCD is its clinical training facility. The primary teaching hospital is the Foundation University College of Dentistry and Hospital, a purpose-built dental hospital located on the same campus in Islamabad. This provides students with direct, hands-on experience in a modern clinical environment dedicated entirely to oral healthcare. Students manage patients under supervision across all major dental disciplines. As part of the Foundation University network, FUCD emphasizes a disciplined academic environment and incorporates modern educational technology. The college focuses on producing clinically proficient dental graduates, with an emphasis on research, community dentistry, and ethical practice. It aims to prepare students for successful careers in private practice, public service, or further specialization.
