Introduction

UVAS Jhang Campus, officially the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS), is a public sector constituent campus of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. It is located in Jhang, Punjab, Pakistan.

History

The campus was established in 2006 as a sub-campus of UVAS Lahore. It was founded as an initiative for veterinary education under the special consideration of Lt. Gen. (Rtd.) Khalid Maqbool, the then Governor of Punjab. The founder principal was Prof. Dr. Ashiq Hussain Cheema. The current principal is Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fiaz Qamar.

• Campus Area: 100+ acres

• Divided into two blocks: Academics Block and Clinical Veterinary Hospital

• Features separate boys' and girls' hostels, veterinary teaching hospital, experimental animal facilities, and residential colonies
