History

The nursing school was started in December 1948 and holds the distinction of being the first new school of nursing established in Pakistan after independence. It was then upgraded to a Nursing College on 26th October 2016. The college is an integral part of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, which was formally inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Khawaja Nazim-ud-Din, on March 31, 1949. Over the decades, the institution has evolved to meet modern healthcare demands while maintaining its legacy of excellence.
