History

Allama Iqbal Medical College was established on 2 May 1975 as Lahore Medical College, with Prof. Dr. Akhtar Hussain Awan serving as the first Principal. The college was renamed Allama Iqbal Medical College two years later to commemorate the centenary celebrations of the great philosopher. The Institute of Allied Health Sciences was established in 2009 as part of AIMC's expansion into allied health education.

◆ Only 20 open merit seats available for the DPT program.
