Introduction
Bhitai Dental and Medical College (BDMC) is a private sector dental and medical college located in Mirpur Khas, Sindh, Pakistan. It was established under the umbrella of Bhitai Trust and is currently registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as Bhitai Education Pvt Limited.
The college was founded with the aim of fulfilling the growing demand for healthcare services in the region and providing quality treatment in dentistry and medicine at the nearest possible location, as Mirpur Khas serves as a central hub connecting diverse cities of Sindh.
History
BDMC was established in 2010 and entered its 15th year of academic excellence in 2025. Since its inception, the institution has nurtured thousands of dental and medical graduates who are now serving across the globe.
The college has achieved significant milestones, including full recognition from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), Islamabad, and the Ministry of National Health, Government of Pakistan. Despite being a young institution, BDMC has established itself internationally, having entered the approved list of the World Health Organization, ECFMG (USA), General Medical Council, and General Dental Council (U.K.).
In 2025, the college inaugurated a new Examination & Resource Center equipped with 100 computers, offering students cutting-edge resources for digital medical education.
Location and Campus
The college is located on Ring Road, Jarwari Canal, Mirpur Khas, Sindh. The present building is built on 6 acres of land with a covered area of 60,000 square feet (Dental College: 27,000 sq. feet, DPT: 20,000 sq. feet). Bhitai Education Pvt Limited currently operates a 100-bed hospital in Mirpur Khas.
Recognition and Affiliation
BDMC is recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) and affiliated with Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro.
