Introduction
The University of Modern Sciences (UMS) is a private-sector university located in Tando Muhammad Khan, Sindh, Pakistan. It was established in 2018 and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as the first private university in rural Sindh, founded with the vision of bringing quality education to underserved areas.

History
The University of Modern Sciences was founded by the Professional Associates Community Services Foundation (PACSF) with a clear vision of addressing the urgent need for quality higher education in underserved areas of rural Sindh. The institution was established in 2018 and later granted its charter by the Sindh Assembly. UMS is affiliated with Indus Medical College & Hospital, which was established with the aspiration of uplifting healthcare and educational standards in the region.
